Welcome to Johnson's Landing Retreat Center
Welcome to the Johnson’s Landing Retreat Center. It is our 20th anniversary and we celebrating it on June 24 with a Strawberry Social.
At the bottom of this page is the 2017 printed pages that were in Issues Magazine, if you want to see what the retreats looked like for 2017.
Most people arrive just after lunch to get settled into their campsite or accommodations. Retreats start with dinner and finish after lunch on the last day.
We provide delicious vegetarian cuisine, comfortable lodgings, sacred meditation spaces and a labyrinth with an inspiring mountain view.
At the Retreat Center we are very aware of our connection with the environment. Because of our recycling, reusing, organic gardening, alternative energy initiatives and sustainable land use methods, we were received the Green Star Award from Live Smart BC, a provincial government program. Plus, we are Kootenay Mountain Grow Certified by the Kootenay Local Agricultural Society, which recognizes our commitment to growing our food organically.
Johnson’s Landing Retreat Center is located 1 hour north of Kaslo, 2 hours north of Nelson, and 3-1/2 hours south of Revelstoke. From the deck of the Main Lodge we have a magnificent view of the Selkirk Mountain range. The Retreat Center backs onto the Purcell Wilderness Conservancy Provincial Park with the famous Fry Creek Canyon hiking trail starting minutes from our door.
