Buddhism: A Path of Happiness and Love

July 14th to July 20th  -or-  July 26th     (6 or 12 days)
Robert Beatty  assisted  by Don McEachern

The Buddha taught that our essential nature is wise, loving, compassionate and joyful.  The key lies in self-awareness. Buddhist psychology and meditation practices proven over 2500 years provide skills to set you free from anxiety, depression, self-doubt, fear and loneliness.

Learn mindfulness meditation, (Vipassana) which allows you to be present and awake in every activity of your life.  Mindfulness is a revolutionary way of being in which you are no longer identified with moods, the worrying mind, compulsions, or scripts from the past.  It allows you to face and overcome your deepest fears, forgive others, and love yourself. Suffering diminishes over time as you learn to quiet your mind, observe and release difficult states and cultivate contentment.

This silent retreat will consist of sitting and walking meditation, lectures, discussion, music and movement. There will be frequent opportunities to receive personal support and guidance to assist you to open to your deepest truth. You will return to your life and relationships rested, renewed, and inspired.
