A One Day Introduction  PLUS A Three Day Hands - on Project  (4 Days)
We will be installing a photo-voltaic solar panel array and the appropriate control systems to power our Winter Greenhouse Project.  This workshop will go beyond  photo-voltaic systems to discuss the various kinds of solar energy systems.  Bring your note book, camera and work gloves.  You will learn some of the technical data for designing a system for your own use.

Bob-WattersBob Watters has focused a good portion of his life on using alternative energy forms to improve the quality of life on this planet.  His passion has taken him to places all around the world working in co-operation with all sorts of people.  Bob has helped to develop Bio-Diesel fuel production from coconuts for remote Pacific island communities.  He has helped to develop a solar power system for a remote clinic in the highlands of Guatemala.   Among other things, he has worked in Antarctica investigating the feasibility of using wind power at remote research stations.  He is one of those people who works on new ideas and projects late into the night in a shop full of interesting gadgets.
