June 10th - 17th • 7 days Don Lee and the JLRC Building Team
We will be building a greenhouse that relies on two natural heat sources to maintain the growing temperature above freezing in the Winter. We will install an annualized geo-solar system that stores Summer heat in the ground below the greenhouse floor. TIme permitting we will prepare a Bio-Mass heating system that extracts heat from a huge compost pile and transfers it under the floor of the greenhouse. As a team we will build the south facing glass wall and the roof.
TUITION: Before May 10th $515
After May 10th $530
Includes accommodations and simple but delicious vegetarian meals for 7 to 14 days.
