Don Lee and the JLRC Building Team

Build a 100 square foot mini-cabin designed to be small enough to avoid needing formal building permits in most municipalities and still have enough space to sleep one or two people.  Learn basic floor - wall - ceiling construction plus window and door installation.  Come prepared to design and build.

TUITION:

After April 25th       $530

Includes comfortable accommodations and simple but delicious vegetarian meals for 7 to 14 days.

Don Lee is a trained finishing carpenter/cabinet maker and has worked under a piano maker in Germany.  He is very skilled carpenter and a wonderful teacher.
Richard Ortega is the building co-ordinator and the Director of the Retreat Center. He is also a shop teacher and mechanic.
