Shamanic Journey Training

July 31 - August 4

Shamanic Journey and the Inca Medicine Wheel Tradition – Private Event

Introduction to Shamanic Journey

The shamanic journey is the art of experiencing direct revelation at will. It is a core shamanic practice that involves navigating the underworld, middle, and upper worlds. One can bring forth messages, meaning, and purpose by utilizing the information gathered from these realms. This practice helps build a relationship with each realm, supporting a greater understanding of who you are and your place in the Great Mystery.

To prepare, here are some steps you can take:

1. Gather Necessary Items: Bring a yoga mat, cushion, blanket, stone, water bottle, and journal. These items will help you stay comfortable and engaged during the workshop.
2. Set Intentions: Reflect on your goals and intentions for the workshop. Consider what you hope to gain from the experience and how you want to grow spiritually and emotionally.
3. Familiarize Yourself with the Archetypes: Learn about the Serpent, Jaguar, and Condor archetypes. Understanding their significance and how they relate to your journey will enhance your experience.
4. Practice Grounding Techniques: Engage in grounding practices such as walking barefoot on the ground or meditating in nature. This will help you connect with the earth element and prepare for the shamanic journey.

Open Your Mind and Heart: Approach the workshop with an open mind and heart. Be ready to embrace new experiences, insights, and connections with the spiritual realms. Shamanic journey enhances intuition, increases psychic awareness, and instigates clarity on one’s path. It is a fundamental tool for those on a healing path, allowing individuals to connect with their ancestors and bring balance to their lives.

The Inca Medicine Wheel Tradition

The Inca Medicine Wheel tradition has been shared with Westerners for over 50 years, starting with elder Don Manuel Quispe. It is a path of connecting with the animate world of Spirit in a sacred relationship. It focuses on developing an understanding of three integral archetypes – the Condor, Serpent, and Jaguar. The Medicine Wheel embodies balance and harmony, symbolizing the connection between physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. In the Inca tradition, healers utilize the archetypes diagnostically to identify imbalances and restore harmony to the energy body.

The Three Archetypes

• Serpent: Represents the underworld and is associated with shedding old patterns and embracing transformation. Energetically held in your belly.
• Jaguar: Represents the middle world and is associated with power, protection, and the ability to navigate challenges. Energetically held in your heart.
• Condor: Represents the upper world and is associated with vision, clarity, and spiritual connection. Energetically held in your third eye.

By connecting with these archetypes, individuals can deepen their intuitive abilities, heighten their psychic awareness, and gain clarity on their life’s path.

Benefits of Connecting with the Three Archetypes

• Enhanced Intuition: By working with these archetypes, individuals can deepen their intuitive abilities, allowing them to access insights and guidance from the spiritual realms.
• Increased Psychic Awareness: Engaging with the Serpent, Jaguar, and Condor helps to heighten one’s psychic awareness, making it easier to perceive subtle energies and messages.
• Clarity on One’s Path: Connecting with these archetypes provides clarity and direction, helping individuals understand their purpose and navigate their life’s journey with greater confidence.
• Healing and Balance: The shamanic journey is a fundamental tool for those on a healing path. It enables individuals to connect with their ancestors and bring balance to their lives.

Examples of How to Connect with Each Archetype

• Serpent: Engage in practices that involve grounding and releasing. Visualize yourself shedding old skin, letting go of past traumas, and embracing new beginnings. Work with the earth element, such as walking barefoot on the ground or meditating in nature.
• Jaguar: Engage in practices that involve empowerment and courage. Visualize yourself embodying the strength and agility of the Jaguar, facing your fears, and overcoming obstacles. Work with the fire element, such as lighting a candle or sitting by a bonfire.
• Condor: Engage in practices that involve elevation and insight. Visualize yourself soaring high above the earth, gaining a broader perspective on your life and receiving guidance from the spiritual realms. Work with the air element, such as practicing deep breathing exercises or spending time in high places.
